NEW WOMEN’S RECORD. MISS NORMA WILSON IN FORM. At an electric light athletic meeting in the Basin Reserve, Wellington, on Saturday, between the Wanganui Club and the Wellington Club, Miss Norma Wilson broke the record for the 100 yards, her time being 11 seconds. As she ran on a downhill track, the time may not be officially recognised. She failed by one-tenth of of a second tu equal the 50 yards record. A. Elliott won the 100 yards handicap in lOsec, but was unplaced in the 220. C. Jenkins was unplaced in the 100 and 220. He is not well at present. Don Evans was second in the mile, the time for which was 4min 30 4-ssec. He left his run too late.
