EXPORT OF HONEY

CHANGE IN POLICY ANNOUNCED. Auckland, March 5. A change is announced in the policv of the Honey Export Control Board, which is taking absolute control of tho export of honey. The chairman, Mr J. Rentoul, stated that the export formerly was almost wholly in the hands of the Honey Producers’ Association. The board's policy would be to clear the season’s shipments before the next season’s honey arrived. Sufficient honey would be held for the year’s packed requirements, and the balance sold at the best prices obtainable within a reasonable period. It was decided that the Imperial Bee brand, under which Dominion honey is sold, would he secured bv the board.
