Following is the Government Meteorologist’s summary aud forecast tot the Central, East and North East districts for the 24 hours from 9 o’clock this morning:—

Summary: Conditions are very disturbed over Australia, where one or possibly two extensive cyclonic storms are still operating. New Zealand and the eastern Tasman Sea, however, are in a oetern Tasman Sea, however, are in a wide anti-cyclonic area, pressure reaching over 30.2 inches. This high pressure system is likely to take several days to move off. Forecast: Light to fresh south easterly winds.
