HASTINGS CLUB’S MEETING NEW YEAR’S NIGHT FIXTURE. HANDICAPS FOR VARIOUS EVENTS. The following handicaps have been declared for the Hastings Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club’s sports meeting to be held at Nelson Park, Hastings, on New Year’s night, Monday, January 2, 1933. A special feature of this meeting is the interprovincial ladies’ relay race between teams representing the Wellington and Hasitngs Clubs for the Eteveneaux Cup, at present held by Wellington. In addition there will be a special race over 100 yards between the leading lady runners of both clubs. The meeting commences at 7.45 p.m. and those who wish to obtain a good position to witness the contests arc advised to be there early.
