MILITARY PLANE CRASHES
FOLLOWED BY EXPLOSION. TWO KILLED: 19 INJURED. Paris, Dec. 20. A military ’plane crashed on the roof of a house in a Parisian suburb. The pilot was killed instantly. The inhabitants rushed into the street. Policemen and volunteers using ladders attempted to reach the wreckage., A septuagenarian woman resident returned to fetch her savings when a violent explosion occurred owing to the petrol reaching a stove through a chimney. The explosion killed the woman and injured 19 others.
