BRITISH TREASURY BONDS
NOTICE OF REPAYMENT. ANOTHER LARGE CONVERSION? (British Official Wireless.) (Received I, 12.30 p.m.) Rugby, Oct. 31. The Treasury has given notice to th( holders of five per cent. Treasury bonds, 1933-1935, that these bonds will be repaid at par on February 1, 1922, together with the six months’ interest due on that date. Interest on the bonds will then cease.
The sum involved is about d 14,000,000. It is believed that this repayment forecasts another large conversion.
