LIGHTHOUSES FOR ’PLANES
NOVEL JAPANEEB ENTERPRISE. (United Press Association—By CableCopyright.) (Received 31, 10.45 a.m.) Toklo, Oct. 30. The first of a number of lighthouses erected by voluntary contributions will be operating in November from the summit of a mountain in the Hakone district, on the main route of Japan’s air lines. It is equipped with revolving vari-coloured lamps of 3,500,000 candlepower.
