RIFLE SHOOTING
N.S.W. MEETING. (United Press Association—By Cabla— Copyright.) (Received 12, 1.15 p.m.) Sydney, Oct. 12. Following are the results from the rifle meeting:— Jamieson Match (ten shots at 800 yards).—This was won by Davies (Randwick), his score being 50. Allan (Queensland), the runner-up, was the best of four other possibles. The New Zealanders, A. and W. Ballinger, each scored 47. Johnnie Walker Match (ten shots at 900 yards).—This was won by Saul Kempsey (57). The best of the other Sossibles was Barraud (Wagga), leholl (New Zealand) finished fifth and Cromie eighth. The Dodds Aggregate was won by Jordan (Warrnambool) with 145. Nicholls was fifteenth (141) and Cromie thirty-sixth (139). The Longfield Aggregate was won by Allan (Queensland) with 283 and Ellis (Bendigo) was runner-up with 283. Nicholl was fifteenth (277), Cromie sixteenth (276), O’Donnell (270), Koppert Carter (264), W. H. Ballinger (263), A. E. Ballinger (258). PAKOWHAI MINIATURE CLUB. HANDICAPS FOR THURSDAY.
