The popularity of WestshoJe as a summer resort lias been increased by the formation of a Westshore Cricket Club. The hon. secretary, Mr F. Salamonson, has notified the secretary. of the Hawke’s Bay Cricket Association, Mr M MacLeod, that the club does not propose .to enter a team in the competitions nt this stage, but to indulge in friendly matches at home and away from home. The club hopes to. build up a suitable team to enter the competitions next season. I
