HASTINGS WOMEN’S CLUB

BRIDGE CIRCLE MTETING. On Monday afternoon the members of the bridge circle of the Hastings Women’s Community Club took part in an enjoyable Yankee tournament. The rooms were decorated with bulbs, japonica and New Zealand birch. During an interlude an enjoyable afternoon tea was served. Those playing at the various tables were; Mesdames Stratton, O’Meara, Rivers, Taylor, Garnett, Kessell, Marshall, Budd, Palmer, Bate, Lawlor, Petry, Foot, Cunningham, Shand, Jack Simson, Beamish, J. Foot, Bone, Roulston, Collins, Darvell, Miller, Aitken, Johnson, Ebbett, Hart, ReesDavies, Elder, Misses Lewis Evans and Hislop.
