INVITATIONS FOR FEBRUARY British Official Wireless Service. Rugby, Aug. 11. Invitations to 250,000 buyers in the United Kingdom and 500,000 buyers in 79 foreign countries will shortly be sent out for the British Industries Fair next February. The last fair recorded a 4000 increase in trade visitors and each year the fair increases in size and attraction. A branch of the fair will again be held in Birmingham. Included in the exhibits will be the latest- machinery for mining, quarrying, road-making and street mending. Nearly a thousand firms have already booked space and 90 per cent of the floor accommodation has been allotted. Some 136 firms are exhibiting furniture and 127 textiles. Numerous firms will exhibit leather goods, sports goods, stationery, fancy goods, toys, games, jewellery, silver and electro plate.
