Dail and Senate.
The Free State Senate sat specially to consider the Dail’s rejection of its amendments to the Control of Manufactures Bill. The Government was defeated by 24 to 17 on a motion at the Senate does not insist on its amendments, meaning that if the Dail disagrees the bill will automatically be delayed for 18 months.
