When patrolling Oriental Bay at about 7.30 p.m. on June 30, detectives stopped and spoke to John Barnard McDonald, alias Frederick McAllister, aged 31, and ns a result McDonald was charged at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday with being found in possession of house-breaking instruments (a crowbar, jemmy, jack-knife and a pair of socks). McDonald pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to 12 months’ bard labour.
