Choicest salted New Zealand 100/- to 101/-, Australian 98/- to 99/-; unsalted New Zealand 102/- to 104/-, Australian 98/- to 99/-. Cheese is firm. New Zealand white 60/-, coloured 59/-; Australian, coloured 57/- to 58/-; white, none offering. SHEEPSKIN SALES. (Received 8, ll|lo a.m.) London, July 7. At the sheepskin sales 4,794 were offered, including 686 New Zealand. There was a good attendance, both Homo and Continental, and fair competition. About 70 per cent, were sold. Compared with prices on May 5 Australian Merinos, finest crossbred combings, were unchanged; medium and low crossbreds, short shorn, were five per cent, cheaper; New Zealand finest crossbred combings, hoggets, were five per cent, dearer. All other New Zealand sorts were five per cent, cheaper. Murray, Roberts and Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house: —“Sheepskins: Good attendance of buyers. Merino and comeback, par to 5 per cent, advance; fine crossbred advanced 5 per cent.; other descriptions, market shows no material change.”
