HASTINGS WOMEN’S CHOIR

SOCIAL EVENING. The Hastings Women’s Choir, which now has many young members added to its ranks, is going ahead this winter with greater enthusiasm than ever after the lest following the “earthquake year.'’ New and very charming part songs have just arrived from England and are being studied with interest. A social evening is to be given by members of the choir to their friends on Monday, July 4, in St. Andrew’s Hall, at 7.45 p.m. The president and all vice-presidents are to he invited, and each member will also invite two friends. The programme and supper arrangements are in the hands of the committee, ami in every way this gathering promises to be as successful and enjoyable as past social functions organised by this choir.
