Mr Neville Chamberlain, who has made a good recovery from an active attack of gout, is expected to resume his Parliamentary duties this week and will probably be in the House of Com. mons on Wednesday or Thursday when the report stage of the Finance Bill will be taken. It is expected that he Will make an important speech at the third reading of the bill. On Friday it is anticipated that currency questions will be discussed and the economic problem touched upon. In a general survey of the financial situation Mr Chamberlain will, it is stated, deal broadly with some issues that will be raised at the coming conferences.
