Crime in Napier.
“We have a few black sheep in Napier, but taking the district as a whole we are remarkably free from erime,’’ stated Mr D. J. Cummings, formerly inspector of police at Napier and recently appointed superintendent, at Christ church, in the course of some remarks made by him at, the weekly luncheon of the Napier llotnry Club yesterday afteynoo n.
