End, 0 —1; Bristol City defeated Manchester U., 2—l; Bury and Nottingham Forest drew, 2 all; Leeds U. defeated Southampton, 1—0; Millwall defeated Burnley, 2—o; Notts C. defeated W’humton W., 3 —l; Oldham A. defeated Tottenham H., I—2; Plymouth A. defeated Bradford, 4—l; Port Vale defeated Chesterfield, 2—l; Swansea T. and Stoke City drew 1 all. Third Division (Southern Section). — Brentford defeated B’mouth and 8.A., 40 —2; Cardiff City lost to Norwich City, o—2; Coventry City defeated Watford, s—o;5 —0; Exeter City lost to Crystal P., 0 —1; Fulham defeated Bristol Rovers, 3—2; Gillingham defeated Mansfield T., 2—o; Luton T. defeated Brighton and H.A., 3—2; N’hampton T. defeated Swindon T., 4 — 1; Heading defeated Clapton Orient 5— 0; Southend U. defeated Torquay U., 4—2; Thames defeated Queen’s Park R., 3—2. Third Division (Northern Section). — Barrow defeated Stockport County, 1 — 2; Chester defeated Carlisle United, 4—l; Darlington lost to Doncaster R., 2— 3; Halifax T. defeated Southport, 3— 0; Hull C. defeated Accrington Stanley, 3 —o; Lincoln City and Wrexham drew, no score; North Brighton defeated Rotherham U., 3 —l. Everton is assured of the League championship with 55 points and two matches in hand. Arsenal is second with 52 points and one match unplayed. Blackpool and Westham each have 31 points and Grimsby 30. Each has another match to play, and is fighting to avoid relagation to the second division, of which the loaders are Wolverhampton 56 and Leeds United, 54. These teams with enter the first division. SCOTTISH LEAGUE. First Division. —Kilmarnock lost to Rangers, 2—4; Motherwell defeated Clyde, 3—o; Partick lost to Celtic, o—2. Second Division. —Edinburgh defeated Dumfcrmlinc, 4—l. NORTHERN UNION.
