WAIPUKURAU SALE. TODAY’S PRICES. The weekly Waipukurau stock sale was held to-day in fine weather. Prices were as follows:— Fat Cattle: 7 light prime Hereford bullocks passed at £5 15/-; 7 prime P.A. bullocks passed at £6 2/6; 1 Shorthorn cow brought £2 1/-; - light Jersey cow, £2 7/-. Store Cattle: 101 18-months attractive Hereford steers, passed at £2 10/-; 24 well-bred med. 18-mths. P.A. heifers, passed at £1 12/6; 16 18-mths. P.A. steers sold at £1 8/-; 11 18-mths. P.A. cross steers, similar quality, passed at £1 17/6; 56 18-mths. P.A. Hereford med. cross steers, passed at £1 10/-; 31 2-yr. P.A. cross bullocks, passed at £2 18/6; a pen of 2-yr. P.A. steers, rather poor, realized £2; 17 empty P.A. cows, fair, brought £1 9/-; 21 18-mths. P.A. steers, fair, £2; 16 yearling Hereford steers, poor, £1 1/-; 8 P.A. cows, fair, passed at £1 7/-; 6 light bullocks brought £1 16/-; 4 2-yr. steers, very poo., passed at 10/ ; 2 store cows brought 6/-; cow, with calf at foot, brought 17/-; 3 Shorthorn 18-mths. steers passed at 17/6.
