NAPIER COMPETITIONS FURTHER AWARDS. HIGH STANDARD MAINTAINED. The high standard of the performances at the Napier music and elocutionary competitions was well maintained at yesterday’s sessions, and there was no lessening of the keen public interest. The judges’ awards in yesterday’s classes were as under:— Recitation, boys under 12.—Master Keith Dockery (Napier), 80 points, 1; Master Ted Luke (Napier), 79 points, 2; Master Berin Spiro (Napier), highly commended.
