LONDON MARKET DULL. TAINUI SHIPMENT PRICES. The Department of -Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated March 24, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: — Apples: Shipment ex Tainui in the market, which is very dull, with large quantities of American Winesap apples selling at 9/-. Present quotations for New Zealand are:— Worcester Pearmain, 11/- to 13/-. Alfriston, 12/- to 14/-. (Iravcnstein, 10/- to 12/-. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tainui took the first shipment of apples from New Zealand this season, a total of 8525 eases. She was followed a few days later by the and l>. liner I’orl Caroline, with 10,!,TH cases.
