GREASY MERINO 17!d. Sydney, March 29. At the wool sales 10.488 bales were offered and 9410 sold, also 835 privately. The average price of the last series was 8.71 d per pound. At the resumption of the auctions to-day wools ruled about equal to closing rates before Easter, but fine wools were in limited demand, prices showing a decline of ■ ’ cent. All skirtings, comeI crossbreds ruled firm. Greasy ~ .b'-.-ec sold to 171 d.
