WELLINGTON PROVINCIAL TITLE. WIN FOR J. P. HORNABROOK. Wellington, March 29. The Wellington provincial golf championship tourney, concluded to-day in fine weather at the Heretaunga links, resulted in a win for J. P. Hornabrook, of Masterton, who defeated the New Zealand amateur champion, Rana Wagg, two up and one in the semi-final this morning. He beat J. H. Drake, of Miramar, by two up in the final this afternoon. In the other semi-final Drake beat Harold Black, four up and three up.
TARANAKI CHAMPIONSHIP. WIN FOB W. A. KEELING. New Plymouth, March 29. W. A. Keeling, of Palmerston North, defeated A. E. Conway, two up and one, in the amateur golf championship of Taranaki at the conclusion of the Easter tournament to-day. THE MANAWATU TOURNEY. WIN FOR H. G. DAVIES (NAPIER). Palmerston North, March 29. In the final of the Manawatu Easter golf championships H. G. Davies (Na pier) beat T. Stubbs (Manawatu), two and one.
