LONDON SHEEPSKIN SALES
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following advices concerning the London sheepskin sales:—The London sheepskin sales closed firm. There were offered 7750 bales and sold 5580 bales. We now quote New Zealand crossbred medium and coarse at par to 5 per cent lower; hoggets and lambs par to 5 per cent higher. The following is the range of prices:—Merino, three-quarters to full woolled 4lcl to 6Jd, merino, quarter to half woolled 2Jd to 4d, merino short and shorn 2Jd to 2-}d; Crossbred three-quarters to full woolled fine 41d to 6Jd, Crossbred three-quarters to full woolled medium and coarse 3Jd to 4?d, Crossbred quarter to half woolled fine 3”d to 4|d, Crossbred three-quarters to half woolled medium and coarse 3|d to 4|d, Crossbred short and shorn 2Jd to 3d; lambs, 4d to 5-Jd.
