GOVERNOR-GENERAL SEES NO REASON FOR INTERFERING WITH SENTENCE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Wellington, Dec. 11. His Excellency the GovernorGeneral, acting on the advice of his Ministers, sees no reason for interfering with the sentence of the Court passed in due form of law in the case of George Errol Coats. Coats was sentenced to death for the murder of the girl Symons. The appeal failed.
