TESTATOR’S INTENTIONS ARGUED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Christchurch, Dec. 11. The question of the interpretation of a clause in the will of the late Sir George Clifford camo before Mr. Justice Adams to-dav. The clause affected dealt with the testator’s personal estate. The manner in which the grandchildren should benefit was the main point requiring interpretation. 'Hie will was ia the testator’s own handwriting and counsel explained that the effect of the clause as it stood was to make inheritance by any grandchild a matter of ciuuice, though the testator’s intention was plainly different. After legal argument judgment was reservod.
