——■ -• ”—— ACCUSED'S EXTENUATING STORY. (Received 10, 11.20 a.m.) London, Dec. 9. George Tandy, an unemployed asphaiter, has been remanded on a charge of murdering his wife. The'Volice gave evidence that accused in a statement said that his wife had made his life a perfect hell. She was always drinking and had told him that she would do something to their little lad, so he thought it best that she went first, and ho had killed her.
