The Milsou aerodrome at Palmerston North was offi.ially opened on Saturday by the Hon J. G. Cobbe, Minister for Defence. Seventeen ’planes toek part in the demonstrations, racing and stunting, the visitors including a number of distinguished pilots. Messrs Ken Gould (club instructor), L. Mo Gaffin, and Brian Boys, of the Hawke’s Bay and East Coast Aero Club flew dow n to Palmerston North for the occasion. Tho party left here on Saturday and returned on Sunday morning.
