ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
By Telegraph—Press Association. Errol Fry, aged 17, was found dead in his whare by the licensee of the Wairau Valley Hotel, where he was employed as a cowboy. There was a gunshot wound in the head and a gun alongside. His parents live at Renwicktown. Douglas Marsh, aged 21 a boilermaker's apprentice, was drowned whilst bathing yesterday in a deep holo in the Waimatfi river. A companion named Mickie, who 'was nn indifferent, swimmer, and a 12-year-old boy. Trevor Stevens, made plucky but ineffectual efforts to save him.
