At a representative meeting of the Leamington (Hamilton) Bowling Club on Friday evening it was decided to allow play on Sundays between 1 p.m. and 5.30 p.m., subject to the approval of the Domain Board. There was a little opposition, but members generally contended that there was no more harm in playing a game of bowls on Sunday afternoons than going for a motor ride.
