TARADALE

THE LIBRARY COMMITTEE The monthly meeting of the Taradalo Library Committee was held on Thursday evening, Mr C. H. Williams presiding. There were also present Mrs R. J. Campbell, Miss R. Martin, Messrs W. Jarvis, 0. Anderson, H. Fayen, J. Williamson (secretary). An apology was received from Mr W. Pollock. The following resolutions were passed: (1) That the library be open for issue of books on Monday and Wednesday of both Christmas and New Year days. (2) That the secretary of the Libraries Association be approached concerning the appeal for assistance. (3) That there be no meeting of committee in January unless circumstances warrant. The secretary reported that the issue of books was being Satisfactorily conducted and the library well patronised by subscribers.
