Amateur photographers find that with the New Agfa Isochrome Film successful snaps can be taken under conditions previously considered impossible.—B* Contrary to the usual practice, Wellington Training College students did not receive their December salaries when the Training College closed down yesterday for the sc', ol year. They will receive their cheques on December 18, the break-up day for primary and secondary schools. It is explained officially that the principal reason is the difficulty of arranging finance. It is purely courtesy paying out ou tho day of disbandment, and students are not legally entitled to their pay until the end of the month. Furthermore, this year the college disbanded exceptionally early, and the difference in time could not be overlooked by the Treasury. To have paid on the fourth would have cost the State more money, and the necessity for economy is very great. —Press Assn.
