£5OO DAMAGES AWARDED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, Deo. 6. Ellen Veronica Rose Bell was awarded £5OO damages from William Robert Millier for breach of contract to marry. The defence was that there was no formal engagement because no agreement could be reached ou the question of religion.
