NEW LABOUR BODY

SPLIT AT CHRISTCHURCH, TRADES HALL FACTIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association Christchurch, November 9. A new body, the Canterbury Industrial Association of Workers, has been established. The association has as its main object "unity,” but according to statements made, it is destined to cause a definite split between two factions in the Trades Hall—those who support the existing organisation, the Canterbury Trades and Labour Council, and those associated with the new body.
