MAN ELECTROCUTED

EVE OF BROTHER’S WEDDING. PREPARING CAR FOR CEREMONY. While preparing one night recently for his brother's wedding, James William Green, aged 28, of Old Guildford, near Sydney, was electrocuted in remarkable circumstances. Mr. Green had painted his motorcar and Was renovating the machine for the forthcoming ceremony. He was working by the light of a portjbio electric globe, the flex 'being plugged into a power socket on his front verandah. Apparently the insulation on the flex wires had worn thin, and Mr. Green received a fatal shock. Some time later Mr. Green was found by his sister lying across the front of the car. When she touched him, she, too, received a shock. The power was switched off, and a doctor and an ambulance were summoned, but Mr. Green was beyond aid.
