CHURCH NOTES.

Services will be held in a marquee on St. Matthew's Vicarage lawn tomorrow at 8 a.m. (Holy Communion) and at 11 a.m. (Mattins). Combined services will be held in Beatson’s Park and Cornwall Park at 10 a.m. (Children’s Service) and at 3 p.m. (adults). The Hastings Methodists and Baptists are uniting in their morning worship to-morrow in the Baptist Church grounds at 11 a.m- The young people of both churches are especially urged to attend. Seats and hymn books will be provided. In the afternoon there will be a united open-air service in Cornwall Park at 3 p.m. This service in keeping with the one on Beatson’s Park has been arranged by the Hastings Ministers Association. The Salvation Anny will be in attendance and the preacher wil l be the Rev. E. Nicholls. Hymn books will be provided. These services are for all who care to attend. Open-air Sunday schools will be held in Cornwall Park and Queen’s Square at 10 am. These Sunday schools are interdenominational. The Pukahu service will not be held this month.
