IONA COLLEGE

SWIMMING SPORTS. SALE OF WORK AND ART DISPLAY. On Saturday a very enjoyable afternoon was sptnt by many visitors to lona College viewing the annual swimming sports, and then examining the beautiful needlework done by the girls during the year, also admiring the fine display of arts and crafts. Those who watched the swimming were tiered above the pool on the te 'races and the water below certainly looked very blue and beautiful set in a recess in the pretty lona grounds.
