Hawera, Dec. 2. ■Resultant on proposals .of the Dominion executive of the Farmers’ Lmon having the objective of creating wider interest among farmer* in political questions, the Dominion president, Mr. W. J. Polson, conferred here to-day with the provincial secretaries of north and south Taranaki and Wanganui. A suggestion to hold a series of farmers’ meetings, three in each island, was approved. The first is to be a Taranaki provincial meeting at Hawera at an early date.
