(Received 4. 9.30 a.m. London, Aug. 3.
A Grenoble message states that, dashing daringly through Alpine tunnels holding a pocket torch in her teeth, having lost a headlight in a collision with a runaway motor ear careering backward down a mountain pass, Miss Marjorie Cottle completed the international motor cycle test, not losing a mark. She won the highest award, the gold medal. An Italian trio of men, riding magnificently, completed over 1000 miles on Alpine roads in schedule time and won the international trophy. Britain, France and Belgium each lost a member of their team.
