[Per Press Association.J Palmerston North, August 2. The second day’s races oi the Manawatu Meeting are being held in improved weather, and there is a good attendance. The course is excellent. The Poverty Bav Hunt Club meeting opened in fine weather with occasional showers. There is a large attendance and the track is good.
