KITCHEN EVENING.

On Thursday evening last a kitchen evening was given by Airs J. Hawkius, of Warren street, Hastings, in honour of the marriage of Miss Anna Partridge, of Wolverhampton, England, to Mr. Jack Fritchley, of Hastings, which took place last night. The drawing room was daintily treated with green ferns and varicoloured flowers.

Airs Hawkins received her guests in a smart model of cloud grey with touches of blue.

The guest of honour, Aliss Partridge, wore a pretty frock of paon blue effectively embroidered. After supper had been tastefully served she opened her numerous parcels, for which she thanked her friends. Among those present were:— Airs Thos. Rouse (Napier), in a frock of blue and silver.

Airs J.- Shearer (Napier), white crepe-de-chene. Airs V. Rouse (Napier), parchment erepe-de-chene Airs Al. Newrick, Snr. (Hastings), in black silk marocain.

Mrs Brinson, licben green model trimmed with gold lace. Airs J Charles, black satin beaute with lemon coloured embroideries.

Airs E. Porton, figured crepe-de-chene.

Aliss G Love, black georgette inset with gold bands. Aliss H. Cain, coffee coloured Celanese.

Aliss E. Henry, Alary blue radium lace.

Aliss M. Giles, rose coloured panne velvet.

Miss G Pallison. figured silk ninon. Alessrs J. Hawkins, Thos. Rouse, E. Hawkins, Roy Hawkins, Syd Rouse, E. Rouse, E. Fritchley, N. Fritchley, J. Charles and G. Ashton.
