H.B. RADIO SOCIETY

EXPERIMENTAL DEMON STRATTON

The Hawke’s Bay Radio Society’s visit to the peak of the Have’ock hills last night was a pronounced success, there being an attendance of over 100 members, who were taken to the peak in no less than 27 motor cars.

In ail there were three receivers in operation, but unfortunately atmospherical conditions were not of the best, static coming through in fairly solid blasts. This interfered *o a marked extent with the experiments it was intended to carry out, but, the experience proved beyond all d nibt that reception at such an alti’ude under good conditions, would be and.much in advance of that on the flat.
