Heavy fog at Trentham this morning reduced any possible work to a negligible amount. The new arrivals, Paganelli, Glena Bay and Taneriri, did easy work. Gesture, King Musket and Lineage strode down from the five-furlongs post on the course proper at threequarter pace. First Money and Arikinui did a good easy working gallop over a mile. There is glorious weather and a fast track for the annual fixture of the Manawatu Trotting Club at Ashhurst to-day, when a large crowd was in attendance.
