At the Presbyterian at Dunedin, by a close vote, it was decided to meet in 1931 at Wellington rather than at Wanganui. It was decided to continue the present arrangement for the publication of “The Outlook’’ and to improve its appearance and ask the Rev. Jupp to continue as editor.—Press Association. Messrs Williams and Kettle, Ltd., under instructions from the trustees in the estate of the late Mr. S. MeGaffin, will sell by public auction in the Assembly Hall, Hastings, two properties, one of 329 acres held under L.1.P., and the other of 95 acres, renewable lease. The properties, which adjoin each other, are situated at Mangatahi, seven ifii.les from Maraekakaho, and are subdivided into 15 paddocks, well watered by springs and creeks. The land, which is two-thirds ploughable, wintered 1100 sheep and 30 cattle. There is a seven-roomed house, recently renovated, and an up-to-date woolshed. A further 38 acres freehold, at Twyford, will also be offered, comprising some of the best land in I the district.
