AUSTRALIANS V. NEW ZEALAND THE VISITORS EASILY WIN. Christchurch, March 9, New Zealand won one more of the singles matches to-day in the test tennis match with Australia, but the visitors took all the others to win decisively. Angas lost to Kalms in a thrilling struggle which went to four sets. Bartleet beat Teague after a grim struggle. There were three advantage sets and a fourth which Bartleet won 6—o, the strain of the previous three sets having proved too much for the Australian. The Australians won the test by ten matches to two. Results. Now Zealand names first:— Singles. Wilson lost to Donohoe, 3—6, 4—6. 2—6. Franco lost to Sproule, 2—6, 3—6. Angas lost to Kalms, 4—6, 6—3. 2—6, 4—6. Bartleet beat Teague, 7—5, 6—B, 9—7, 6-0. Doubles. Angas and France lost to Sproule and Donohoe. 4—6. 4—6, 3—6. Bartleet and Wilson lost to Kalms and Teague, 4—<s, 4—6, 3—6.
