CROQUET
BLUFF HILL CLUB. COMPETITION AFTERNOON. The Bluff Hill Croquet Club held a most successful competition afternoon. A large attendance of visitors enlivened the proceedings. Prizes were awarded to winners of competitions as follow Mrs McCarthy (United), skittles; Mrs Collello (Omarunui), golf croquet; Mrs McNab (Napier), one ball break; Mrs Logan (United), angles. Among those present were: Mesdomec Bayliffe, McCarthy, Bendall, Grey, Miller, Williamson, Brown, Wanstall, Walton, Kelly, Collello. Heifford, Cook, Wilson, Davidson, Ritchie, Logan, Pierce, McNab, Corner, Cawston, Burt Back, Pickering, Fargher, Craig, Edwards, Laing. Hunt, Meek, Sweetapple, Ellison, Gurr, Fox. Carter, Misses Gurr (2), Forsythe, Mr. Sweetapple.
