(Own Correspondent). The monthlv meeting of the Town Board was held on Monday night Present: Messrs. J. N. Barrie (chair), A. G. Clark A. H. Bull, and A. Acoft. The clerk reported that the bank overdraft was £5l 19/-, and that there was £B6 outstanding in the general rate account. It was decided that the 10 per cent penalty be added to all rates unpaid bv March 17. The clerk's holiday- was arranged from the 10th February to the 24th The paysheet to the amount of £62 13/9 was passed for payment During the previous week the District Public Works Engineer paid a visit to the town and inspected tho proposed site of the reservoir and pumping station.
