Miss E. Kopper, of Marrickvilla, Sydney, is staying with Mrs J. R. Heighway, Caroline road.
Sirs A. R. Grainger, of St. Aubyn street, left for Hawera this week.
The Misses Ritchie, of Havelock North, who have been away for nine months on a tour of England, Scotland, and the Continent, returned to their home, “Hillsbrook,” on Monday.
Sir and Mrs E. C. Gifford, of Hastings spend their Christmas and New Year holidays at Taupo, Rotorua, and Tauranga.
Sliss Alice Symes, of Waverfey, and Miss Mavis Muir, of Gisborne, are staying with Mr and Mrs A. F. SI. Symes for the Stead-Symea wedding.
Sirs Williams, of Prospect road, Hastings, has left to spend a holiday at Seatoun, SVellington.
Sirs Hoare, of Wanganui, is stay, ing at the Grand Hotel for the SteadSymes wedding.
Sirs Waterworth, of CharlottS Crescent, is staying for Christmas in Auckland, and left with Miss Irvine by the mail train to-day.
Sir and Sirs Noel Ford, of Tike kino, with their baby daughter, are spending Christmas with Sirs Sandtmann, Bluff Hill, Napier.
Sir MIS Mrs Dewer, of England, who have been in Slr g Douglas WilHams’ home, Havelock North during her absence, left on Friday tor a tour of the South Island.
Mrs Simmons, of Patea, is staying at the Grand Hotel, and was a guest at the Stead-Symes wedding last evening.
Miss Irvine, who hss been on the staff of the Hastings High School, left for Auckland to-day, and win embark from there next week, on her return to England.
Misses Hawkens (2), from Hawera, and Misses Mcßae (2), of Wairoa, are staying at the Masonic, Napier, and were present last evening at the Stead-Symes wedding.
• » Mr and Mrs P. Brown, of Fitzroy Avenue, are leaving before Christmas for a holiday in Feilding and Wellington. Mrs Brown will later go on to Nelson.
Miss More-Wright left by the mafl train to-day en route for a'holiday in Auckland.
Miss Humphries, of New Ply. mouth, arrived this week from Wellington, where she has been staying, for a visit to her sister, Mrs Beamish, Whana Whana.
Mrs Morrie Wood, of Blenheim, who has been staying with several friends in Hastings and Havelock North, is visiting Mrs F. von Dadelszen for a few deays. Miss Gretchen von Dadleszen is also staying for a few day with her parents, after being away for some months in Gisborne, where she returns shortly.
