Medium cross-breds showed considerable advance on brokers’ ideas of values and bidding was exceptionally keen at materially lower prices than the March closing rates. Bradford was not operating to any extent, the support mostly coming from France and Eussia. Superior cross-bred, light in condition, and of good colour, made from 13Jd to 14jd. A few extra-super lines were slightly higher. Good style Bomneys fetched from ll|d to 13d. Merinos, lambs and half-breds were stagnant. BEISK DEMAND FOB CEOSSBEEDS IN SYDNEY. There was a very brisk demand for crossbreds, Japan and Eussia competing strongly. There were good clearances. Fine quality wools are still in special demand. The record price for the season, 24jd, was paid for greasy merino fleece, and 23jd for lambs .wool.
