NAPIER PARK RACING CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING HELD. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The annual meeting of the Napier Park Racing Club was held yesterday Mr. J. I. Cato, the retiring president, presiding over a good attendance. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, the latter showing a loss of £439 Os 4d, Mr. Cato stated that all the items of revenue showed an increase and the position generally was an improvement on the previous year. He expressed the hope that the season

just entered would be a auooeesful one. The election of officers for the ensuing year was as follows:— President. Mr. 0. E. Twist; vicepresident. Mr. C. Louisson; committee: Messrs J. I- Cato, 0. W. Badley, H. C. Fox, J. Millar, J. H. McNiven, A. V. S. Reed, F. C. Williams, J. G, Parker, O. Buddenklau, D. Walters; treasurer, Mr. V. W. Cox; auditor, Mr. W. Harvey. The club made Mr. J. Vigor-Brown the retiring treasurer, a life member in recognition of his servieos. Appreciative reference was made to the good work of Mr. T. E. Welch, it being decided to place on record the club’s appreciation of his aervices.
